 |
Text |
Ne formam ſerui ſpernas, ne potentis infirmitatem excelſique humilitatem derideas, ipſe eſt Deus tuus. In eo quòd paruus apparet, magnus latet, in vmbra mortis ſol iuſtitiæ in contumelia crucis, Dominus gloriæ. |
Translation | So that you do not despise the form of a servant, nor mock the weakness of the mighty and the humility of the exalted, he is the Lord your God. The great is hidden in what seems small; in the shadow of death the sun of justice; in the ignominy of the cross the Lord of glory. |
